44 Magnum Series
The 44C Magnum CVT clutch is the answer whenever there is a need for a torque sensitive drive system device that is infinitely variable from engagement to the highest speeds attainable (within the pitch diameter range).
The Magnum 44 continuously variable transmission torque converter system for up to 18 HP applications is a rugged piece of machinery. The drive clutch is designed to withstand the extreme rigors of rough applications. The driven unit is of the same quality construction as drive clutch. Application possibilities cover a wide range. By changing pucks and spring, you can convert the Magnum from the standard 4 cycle setup to be used on 2 cycle engines.

- The 44C Magnum continuously variable transmission is a symmetrical clutch designed to the withstand the extreme rigors of rough applications. By changing pucks and spring, the clutch can be converted from the standard 4 cycle setup to be used on 2 cycle engines.
- OEM applications for engines 24-100 hp available in 1-1/8″ and 1-7/16″ bores
- Pulley ratios 3.41:1 low and 0.68:1 high
- Recommended hp minimum 8 up to 18 hp for 4 cycle engines
- Drive belt: 7/8” top width, symmetrical type
- OEM modifications possible to alter belt widths
- Drive clutch bore sizes: 3/4”, 1”, 1 1/8”
- 40D driven bore sizes: 5/8”, ¾”, 7/8”
- 44D driven bore sizes: 5/8”, ¾”
- Speed reduction ratios using 40D, 71/2” diameter- 2.43:1 low, 1:1 high
